Felimare Villafranca

“Felimare” species in biological taxonomy; are medium-large shellless sea snails (superfamilia-superfamily: doridoidea, familia-family: chromodorididae, subfamilia-subfamily: maimirinae), a genus (genus) of the sea slug family. In the animal kingdom (regnum), they are located in the mollusks (mollusca) division, in the gastropoda (gastropoda) class, in the transitional order doridoidei, in the bare gills order (ordo-order: nudibranchia), in the Doridina Suborder. They were described by Eveline Marcus and Ernst Marcus in 1967.

The Felimare Villafranca species is native to the Mediterranean coast and has been observed in Turkey, between Foça and Karaburun, in the Gulf of Izmir.
